This is a very god quality antique Victorian mahogany loo table, circa 1860. It is a good six seat oval with a central supporting pedestal which terminates in four carved splayed legs. The legs feature the original brass casters. The table has a central decorative finial underneath. The top is detachable for easy transportation but it can be firmly attached with bolts to the base.

The table top features a superb colour / patination. The table seats between 4 – 6 people and is sufficiently tall enough to fit your legs underneath. It is sufficiently wide to accommodate serving dishes in the centre of the table. The table can be stored away by lifting the top up.

It is called a “loo” table because wealthy ladies in grand houses played the card game ‘loo’ sitting around the table taking afternoon tea at the same time hence the name ‘loo table’.

This item would compliment any home so don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.
