This is a good quality antique English Victorian button upholstered mahogany turned leg chaise longue, circa 1860 - 1880.

This is a good quality antique English Victorian button upholstered mahogany turned leg chaise longue, circa 1860 - 1880. The chaise boasts (when facing) a carved right hand arm, a raised sweeping back with a moulded frame. The back deep-buttoned rail sweeps down and is connected to the frame. The front of the chaise features a straight rail and the end of the chaise has straight end. The chaise is upholstered in rich pink draylon upholstery. The swab and tube cushion is detachable. The chaise features the original turned legs to the back and front and below these are brass castors. The frame and legs are constructed of solid mahogany. The chaise can seat up to 3 persons.

Condition Report
The frame, back and legs of this chaise are completely original. There are nominal old use marks to the mahogany frame, which is commensurate with the age of this item. Importantly, the back rail and side arm are firm and there is no play in the joints. The draylon upholstery and braiding is clean and free of marks, dirt or tears. The springs in the seat are firm and in good condition. The four legs stand firm on the floor and the chaise does not wobble. Free of woodworm, solid in joint and ready to use.

Free 14 Days UK Returns & Refunds
A 14-day “no quibble” returns policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item. We will collect the item free of charge from you. You will be given a refund excluding the delivery cost as long as the item is returned in the same condition. We only will collect returns using our own specialist furniture delivery company. We will not accept returns via a courier service (due to experience of damaged items in transit). This refund policy only applies to deliveries to the UK.
