Victorian Mahogany Breakfront Triple Wardrobe c188
Antique Victorian Mahogany Breakfront Triple Wardrobe and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a stepped cornice above a crossbanded frieze and with a full length central mirrored door ( in very good condition) set within a moulded frame. This is flanked on either side by a full length panelled door with shaped and moulded panels and with brass handles and working keys.
Internally and to the centre there is an open compartment with hanging rail and original hooks above five graduating drawers all of which are ash lined with original knob handles. To each side it is all hanging with a shoe drawer to the base. It stands on a deep plinth base and separates for ease of transporting.
Measures: 83" high x 24" deep x 80" wide and internal depth 19.5"
In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
