A fine Victorian mahogany folding artists easel with brass adjusting mechanism. This antique artists easel was made by J & W Vokins, the Vokins family were picture frame and artists material makers to many renowned artists from the late 18th Century and also to Queen Victoria and the Prince of Wales. This provenance is reflected in the excellent quality of this easel which would be an elegant means of displaying an important artwork in any home or gallery.
