Antique Victorian mahogany & brass reading or music stand, in good condition & dating to around the 1860’s period.

The top section is mahogany & is adjustable. The upright brass stand also has a height adjustment system. The heavy base section is well cast & looks like it’s probably cast iron which was gilded. You can see how the gilding has rubbed over the years, which I think is nice & adds to the character.
