Victorian Mahogany 5ft Half Tester Bed
This is a truly majestic piece. It is a Victorian Mahogany Half Tester Bed
The bed dates from around 1860 it has a quarter canopy over the head end with a rounded moulded edge
The foot board of the bed is made in mahogany, it has a curved shape with a decorative moulded design in different shades of Mahogany with a Fan Quartered Flame Mahogany Veneer in the centre
The bed requires new hangings and a mattress to complete it, it will come with a new purpose made wooden base
The bed dismantles for transportation will need reassembling on arrival, all the necessary bolts etc will be provided
The largest measurements of the bed are 82” long, 64” wide, the half tester is 85” high, the bed requires a mattress 60” wide and 74” long
