Victorian Leather Walnut Sofa Chaise Longue Settee
Antique large Victorian leather walnut sofa, chaise longue or settee.
Large and attractive.
Great proportions and styling, which would look amazing in the right location.
Believed to be mixed wood construction involving walnut and beech.
The upholstery is old, has some wear (particularly on the long back rest arm) and marks, although in a way this adds to the charm. We have not inspected concealed components, although there is a sprung seat (quite soft) without any major lumps and bumps.
Overall maximum dimensions
185cmW x 67mmD x 73cmH (38cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. There are historic woodworm holes, that we believe are extinct and have treated for good measure. There are some historic repairs to the legs and dissimilar castors (worn).
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
