Victorian Ladies Scroll Armchair Chair Nursing
Antique quality Victorian ladies scroll armchair.
Would be great in a bedroom.
A nice quality piece that is very decorative.
Dates from C1850 to 1870, quite a rare chair.
Solid, with no loose joints.
The upholstery is old, with just a little wear and few marks. Would be very easy to reupholster as the seat and back pads are removable.
No woodworm.
Overall maximum dimensions
55cmW x 73cmD x 103cmH (37cm seat height).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Some veneer chipping on the front valence beneath the seat, which has been filled. Recent replacement castors.
