Victorian Green Man Carved Oak Pedestal Desk


The desk is made in solid Oak the front has been intricately carved. There are nine drawers in all each of which has a Carved Lions Mask handle, or perhaps it is the green man with his piercing eyes
The top of the desk has an inset tan tooled leather and a deeply carved moulded edge, the sides and back of the desk are panelled, so it looks good when viewed from all sides
The desk is in very good condition for its age, this is a lovely piece to come across and it would work very well in a study or in fact any room
The desk is 48” long, 30” deep and 32” high and the knee hole is 16” wide and 23.5” high, it comes into 3 for ease of transportation
