This is an impressive Victorian golden oak hallstand in the aesthetic style, dating from around 1880. The mirrored back is carved with fretwork and fitted with turned pegs. The marble top is situated above a carved frieze fitted with a drawer. The hallstand has turned legs joined by a platform stretcher and flanked by brass bound stick wells. The hallstand measures 196cm high, 115cm wide and 39cm deep.
