Victorian Gloucester Volunteer Rifles Sword
Victorian Gloucester Volunteer Rifles Officers Sword in steel scabbard. Has a pierced guard with Rifles logo and copper wire bound shagreen grip. Broad single edged good acid etched blade with Rifles logo and stand of arms. Marked 'Gloucester Volunteer Rifles' and also marked as retailed by 'T Fletcher 158 Westgate St, Gloucester'. Blade has most of its original polish and in good sound condition but with some old pitting to scabbard.
Approximately 98cm overall and blade is 82.5cm.
