A very good 19th century Cornish Serpentine Marble doorstop with ring brass handle. Teardrop shape. Circa 1860. 10 1/4" tall x 4 1/4" wide at widest point. Weight 2.83 kilos. Very nicely veined. Slight nibble to the top near handle 5mm across and nibbles to the rim at the very bottom of the doorstop biggest one 20mm across x 7mm up. One side lighter in colour than the other side. Please see pictures. Acceptable for a marble doorstop that is about 160 years old.
