Victorian carved walnut refectory centre/dining table

This is fabulous 19th century carved walnut centre table, possibly Italian. It has a rectangular top with a carved moulded edge and two drawers and sits on elaborately carved trestle ends with winged lions (associated with Venice), standing females and lion masks. The trestle ends are united by a carved stretcher with three baluster turned supports on square plinths with adjoining arches to the top.

It is in good, solid condition but does have marks to the top and needs waxing/polishing. There is a piece of moulding missing to the bottom of one of the trestle ends but it is inside facing.

Overall this is an unusual decorative table.
