Victorian Carved Oak Settle Bench With Chest
Here is a charming Victorian settle of excellent quality.
C1890.
This superb settle is made of solid Oak, with a high three panelled back, with pretty scroll carved decoration to each corner.
Below is a lift-up lid panelled chest, giving ample storage. The chest has charming iron strap hinges, with a large rustic lock with very pretty decorative escutcheon to the front, with large original key, and fully working lock.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
