A very good late Victorian mahogany writing table, or desk. Made from a good grade of solid mahogany timber and decorated with attractive blind fretwork carving to the drawer fronts and additional carving throughout. An arrangement of one long and 6 short drawers provide ample storage capacity. The top is fitted with a sumptuous leather writing surface and surrounded with a three quarters brass gallery of a most attractive nature. All standing on carved cabriole legs terminating in paw feet. This stylish desk is offered for sale in very good original condition.
