In the centre at the front is a recess with a carved Rococo style apron. On either side are bow fronted drawers with turned knob handles and stylish escutcheons. The liners of the drawers are mahogany. The whole piece stands on a spectacular carved base, with turned and fluted ends with carved acanthus leaves united by a large turned carved stretcher, on four well carved cabriole legs with full relief foliate carving and flowers on the toes, on white porcelain castors.
