This exceptional early 19th C. burr walnut ladies writing table features a kidney shaped top with the original leather inset and castors. The table has an ornately carved central knee hole flanked by 2 drawers with twin spiral turned supports on shaped legs and a central stretcher base, all of which have very detailed carving. It measures 42 ¼ in – 107.3 cm wide, 21 in – 53.3 cm deep and 28 ½ in – 72.4 cm high, with a knee height of 26 in – 66 cm. This beautiful and superb quality writing table would make a fine addition to many different decors and settings, both contemporary and traditional.
