Here we are pleased to offer you this Victorian brass bound teak trunk that was used by Colonial families on their journeys around the British Empire.
This type of chest was made of teak that is a timber that is resistant to water and a good timber as it is strong and able to withstand the rigours of the work that it was required of. The base has brass flush corners which were in place to give this chest added strength.
We wonder what stories this could tell and sparks the imagination to the world it worked through.
Now it has been lovingly restored and will make an invaluable addition to your home, to be used for wonderful storage as well as being a character item that will spark conversation.
These make great coffee antique tables as they as polished on all sides and so can stand in the centre of your room if required.
