Victorian Black Lacquered Pier Cabinet
Very decorative Victorian black lacquered and burr walnut pier cabinet with original brass mounts and original glass to the door.
Good finish to the black lacquer and contrasts beautifully with the burr walnut, string inlay and the brass mounts. Flanked by turned columns with further string inlays, standing on turned feet.
Super quality and in lovely condition, this piece would sit well as a pier cabinet for display both to the top surface and the shelved interior, but also as a hall console piece perhaps too.
Measuring:
42 1/2” or 108cm high
32” or 81.5cm wide
14” or 36cm deep
9” or 23cm internal depth
10 1/4” or 26cm height between shelves Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
