Victorian Bergere Settee Victorian Bergere Settee %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
This is a rare superb Victorian Bergere Settee with lovely shell and flower carved back and arms all on swept supports. It is in good condition with sturdy carved legs, with a solid back, arms and seat bearers under the bergere. There is a bit of wear and tear in the bergere on the seat in a few places as can be expected, but nothing that impedes its function or overall look. This settee probably needs a nice seat cushion to be made by its new owners that suits their tastes and requirements, making it a lovely practical addition to grace anyone's home.
