This is a very good caned triple seat. It is a beautiful piece, dating to the late Victorian/early Edwardian period, around 1900. The armchair is made in solid walnut and is beautiful with a serpentined frieze and tapering legs and sheraton shield chair backs. The seat has shaped arms and the caned seat is original and in good order with the minor losses you would expect from age but nothing worth highlighting.

This is a beautiful furnishing piece and would look good in a principal room or as a window seat or pulled to the end of a bed.

Condition good. Joints solid. Caning solid. Walnut beautifully rich and polished.

The armchair seat is 18 inches high and the back is 38 inches high and it is 69 inches wide.
