Victorian 19C scumble glazed bookcase dresser
Antique Victorian 19C scumble glazed bookcase dresser cupboard.
Constructed in pine and scumble glazed (appears original) to look like oak.
This is a lovely bookcase or dresser, that is full of age and character.
Nice proportions and simple styling.
The drawers and doors all open and shut freely.
This is a rare and charming piece of antique furniture.
Fixed shelves with plate retainers.
Lovely patina and would look amazing in the right location!
Splits into two parts for transport.
Overall maximum dimensions 112cmW x 45cmD (+ knobs) x 205cmH (95cm base + 110cm top).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There is a small crack in the corner of the bottom LHS pane of glass (we would happily replace the pane for £30 before dispatch if required). There is some historic woodworm, believed extinct, that we have treated for good measure.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
