Upcycled Edwardian Single Pedestal Oak Desk
An oak Edwardian desk that had lots of charm but had seen a lot of use.
We stripped it by hand and painted the main body with Farrow & Ball 'Studio Green'.
The leather top has a lot of wear so we have dyed this a dark green to compliment the paint and using a gold paint we have added a pattern around the edge freehand.
The drawer front have also been stripped and finished with Osmo hard wax oil to bring out the grain in the wood.
The desk has 5 drawers, most are stained inside with ink but all are clean.
Condition...
Due to the wear this has had 3 coats of paint and a wax finish.
The leather is not original having been replaced a long time ago but was very worn and scratched hence the reason for the dye. Our freehand pattern is not the best but just adds a quirky twist.
There had been old worm that we have re-treated to make sure it is deceased, the holes have been filled and covered with paint.
The castors are original.

For UK deliveries we use Royal Mail 2nd class or Parcelforce 48 and always signed for and always fully insured
Sending parcels abroad we use parcel2go, we always fully insure each parcel and use signed for delivery.
If you are outside of the UK or shipping is not quoted for your country and you would like to purchase this item, then please contact us and we will get a postage/shipping quote for you.
RETURNS...
We will gladly accept returns within 14 days of delivery if the item is not as described or broken in transit.
However, if you just simply change your mind and there is nothing wrong with the item then we do not accept returns.
