Unusually Large Mahogany Coffee Table c1840.
This super and unusually large Early Victorian Coffee Table dates from circa 1840.
Its original use was as a bidet and it still retains its original, removable Toleware liner. This two-handled liner is water tight and is adaptable for many uses.
Our last photograph shows it used as a Jardiniere.
The condition is good. The Table is strong and sturdy and the Mahogany has developed a good patination.
