A very elegant and unusual Regency Chinoiserie black lacquer console table. The 2 tier upstand having turned front supports with “chicken wire” sides and serpentine shaped shelves with shaped top. Decorated with Chinese scenes and characters including bridges, boats, pagodas, fishermen and flora and fauna. The lower section having a useful frieze drawer and standing on tall cabriole legs. The whole with gilded and painted decoration throughout. Condition - good with a few signs of wear associated with age & use. Dimensions:- Height…58.5’’/ 148cm. Width…23’’/ 58.5cm. Depth…9.25’’/ 23.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £50.
