We are offering for sale this very unusual gilt metal Table Lamp and pierced shade. The Lamp has a spread foliate base, a reeded and foliate stem and a central reeded socle, terminating in a faux candle. Four upward curving arms emanate from the socle, to which the pierced gilt metal part of the shade is attached by means of four screws. This ornate metal part of the shade has four large pierced cameos of Georgian style gentlemen. The original cream, lined, silk shade is pleated around the inside of the pierced metal section and covers the entire top, with a frill in the centre.

The lamp looks very dramatic when lit and would look wonderful in a lounge, study or sitting room.

The silk wire is in very good condition and the plug and in-line switch have been replaced. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.

Diameter of shade: 12" - 30.5cm

Diameter of base: 6" - 15.2cm

Condition: Very good. There is no damage to the lamp and the shade is in very good condition.
