Very unusual mid 18th century OVAL Cuban mahogany dish top tripod table. The unusual oval top is constructed from several pieces of mahogany with the edge mould applied in a similar way to early silver antique tables.

Nice design base with lovely shape legs. Nice and honest underneath with original framed bearers and original early iron catch.

A couple of small repairs to the edges.

Lovely original colour and patination with waxed finish.

I can't say I have ever seen an oval dish top tripod table before, very unusual. Possibly Dutch.
