A vibrant and very beautiful unused vintage Stratton compact mirror. This compact is named the Stratton Muffin and it is part of the Old China range. It is suitable for use with loose foundation. This compact model (with different lid adornments) has only three known years of availability - 1948, 1952 and 1953. All the original accessories are present. The makers applied a clear coat of enamel to the whole compact and so it will not tarnish or need to be cleaned. The mirror gives a good clear reflection. The inner lid is signed Stratton. All hinges and catches work perfectly. Measures 3 1/2 inches diameter and weighs 132.2 grams.
