Such an eye-catching vintage silver plated Stratton compact which dates to the 1970s. The lid is adorned with a satinised silver background which is decorated with diamond cut gilt intersecting circles. The whole accessory is in excellent condition. This compact is suitable for use as a handbag mirror, for all loose face powder and also with pressed foundation pans measuring 59-67mm diameter.

The interior case is fitted with a mirror which gives a good and accurate reflection.

The original mirror sticker, box, pouch, puff and sifter are present.

The base is signed Stratton England. Measures 3 1/4 inches diameter. Weighs 102.5 grams.
