An enchanting gilt loose foundation mirror compact crafted by Kigu Ltd in the 1950s. Splendid guilloche engravings adorn the lid, interior and base. A coat of transparent enamel protects the brass and ensures that it will never tarnish or require any cleaning. The lid is set with a marcasite encrusted mount. All of the marcasite stones are present. The mirror gives a clear and accurate reflection. The inner lid is signed Kigu. The original box, pouch, puff and sifter are present. The catches and hinges work perfectly. Measures 7 cm and weighs 81.6 grams.
