An English 6 shot transitional revolvere 1850-60 self cocking bar hammer. By Johns of Falmouth. Engraved decoration one side marked improved Revolving pistol . The cylinder marked with Birmingham proofs . Finely chequered grips probably walnut. Good solid action cocks and fires cylinder lines up with hammer nipples are not flattened, a very tidy gun as it came to us with a good age patina.
