This is a fabulous four piece set comprising a tea pot, coffee pot, sugar bowl and a milk jug. The marks indicate the maker is Abbey hammered pewter. Model no 1057. The handles to the pots are black bakelite.

There is an inscription to the tea pot as follows:

"Presented to Sub Officer Birtwistle on leaving Blackpool Fire Brigade to join Blackburn Fire Brigade 22.10.39"

Measurements:

Tea Pot 10" spout to handle - 5.5" high incl lid - 6" diameter

Coffee Pot 7" spout to handle - 8.5" high incl lid - 5" diameter at largest point

Sugar Bowl 6.75" wide inc handles - 3" high plus top of handles - 4" diameter at largest point

Milk Jug 5.5" spout to handle - 4" high incl handle - 3.5" diameter
