Very handsome early 19th.c. Louis Philippe or Biedermeier style marble top mahogany chest of drawers c.1830. Original white marble top with rounded edges over a slim top drawer in the top and six good sized drawers below. Beautifully figured flame mahogany veneers laid in a symmetrical pattern across the front. Free of any applied decoration save the unusual gilded escutcheon plates, featuring Classical dolphin motifs. Solid walnut sides. Superb mellow colour and excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Original locks. Key supplied.
Dimensions: width 41″, depth 19″, height 62″.
