An impressive tall vintage carved oak pedestal cabinet circa 1920s/1930s. In beautifully figured solid oak, it features an oversailing top above a panelled door carved with a sunflower and the initials “AWW” to the lower panel. The door opens to reveal a single fixed shelf and it stands on a plinth base. It appears to have been constructed from different parts, the central carved panel being earlier (possibly from a antique clock cupboard) or perhaps it has been adapted from a larger piece of antique furniture. Still, a very attractive and useful cupboard with good colour and patina.
