Swedish Rococo Style Painted Dining Chairs, 1920s
A charming set of 8 painted early 20th century swedish rococo style dining chairs with carved shell motifs and high scrolled backs with single shaped and carved back splats.
The paint finish is worn to mimic wear and tear, all chairs are tight and solid and have had repairs over the years. The seats are in their original calico lining and are stained, these are ready to be recovered by an upholsterer.
They measure 106cm high by 50 cm wide and 46cm deep with the seat height being 49cm.
