Superb Victorian Mahogany Glazed Bookcase
This exquisite Victorian mahogany bookcase is a striking example, offering both elegance and functionality in equal measure. Constructed from rich mahogany, the piece boasts a deep, lustrous colour and a beautifully figured grain that glows with a warm patina—testament to its exceptional care and preservation over time.
The bookcase is designed in two sections. The upper portion features a removable cornice with a classic stepped profile. Beneath it are three glazed doors, each fitted with glass panels that allow for a full view of the contents within. The doors are flanked by finely carved corbels, adding an ornate decorative detail characteristic of the Victorian style.
