Offered for sale is this superb set of six Victorian mahogany balloon back dining chairs. The chairs are a lovely rich brown mahogany colour. The set of six Victorian mahogany balloon back chairs have a shaped back rail above a carved centre rail with newly reupholstered serpentine shaped overstuffed seats on turned and reeded supports. The balloon back chairs are in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned, revived and waxed along with the seats reupholstered in a neutral cream and gold material. The chairs date to about 1850 and are a very dense mahogany, probably Cuban and of superior quality with no breaks or damage. Over the past 30 years we have sold over a thousand sets of chairs along with hundreds of dining tables to satisfied customers.
