This is a fabulous 19th century gilt bronze table lamp of exceptional quality and style dating from around 1890.
The substantial lamp has a great presence as it is of a good scale with a single putti kneeling amidst leafy scrolls over a large stepped rectangular plinth which is raised on cast bronze scroll feet. The lamp is fitted with a good pleated coral shade which really compliments the piece.
This measures 87 cms high overall with the base being 29 cms wide by 18 cms deep.
The shade is in diameter.
