Superb late 17th century Italian table cabinet in ebony, rosewood and paduk with bone line inlay and bone escutions. This is a very nice example in very much original condition. The top and ends are veneered in the same manner, the ends with original brass carrying handles. The drawer fronts have very nice carved ebony mouldings around the edges. All the drawers have their original iron spring locks. The key is needed to open the drawers. There are at least 7 secrets drawers. All the drawers are of dovetailed construction.

This has never had a stand, it has always been just to stand on a table.

Exceptionally good condition for age, there have been a few minor veneer restorations over the years but you need to look hard to see them. Waxed finish.
