Truly stunning Victorian walnut and mahogany Dickens desk in very good order.

Sunken centre superstructure flanked either side by columns of three drawers centred by a gallery shelf above a hinged surface enclosing pigeon holes and a small horizontal hinged compartment for writing utensils.

Centre slope is flanked by two further writing with drawers to frieze and further drawers to each pedestal on a pedestal plinth base.

Condition is good some light restoration has been done in the past to drawer liners and backs, worm free but will be treated as a future precaution, no keys unfortunately but this will be reflected in the price.

We are attributing this piece to quality maker J & H Jewell due to the style, timbers used and previously selling two in the past, no Jewell markings but we are confident this is by Jewell.

This by far is one of the best Dickens desks we have had and is a great stylish piece for any interior.
