This convertible powder compact is suitable for both modern loose & pressed face powders.
What ever your initial is it doesn't matter with this vintage compact.
Dial-an-initial compact - just insert the Stratton key & turn a plate which will
then display the initial of your choice. Black pouch included, Stratton silk/foam puff and also the turning key to change the initials.
Trust Stratton to invent such a fun compact.
The model they chose in this instance was the " Cachette " which has a spring grip to hold the powder tray firmly in place. the known years of availability of the " Cachette " were 1964 - 1969.
There a newer versions of the initial compact around. Vintage Stratton compacts can be dated by specialists by the pattern on the base.
This compact is in excellent working condition with a perfect mirror.
