A lovely unused vintage boxed Stratton compact. The lid is decorated with guilloche engraving. This compact is ideal for all loose foundation, as a handbag mirror or cherished collectible. This accessory was coated with a layer of transparent enamel by the makers and so it will not tarnish or need to be cleaned. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. A couple of minor age marks on the mirror. The mirror frame is signed STRATTON MADE IN ENGLAND. The powder well is coated with a protective layer of golden enamel. The original accessories are present - presentation box, felt pouch, pretty floral puff and sifter. The compact is in excellent condition. Measures 3 inches diameter. Weighs 61.6 grams.
