A beautiful 1962 Yardley powder compact in excellent condition with a long history behind it. The lid and base are decorated with a gilt textured effect. The lid bears the Yardley 'Feather Finish' feather graphic. The lid lifts to reveal an excellent mirror which gives a perfect reflection. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The manufacturers included a tiny hole in the base of this compact to facilitate the easy removal of powder pans. If any powder pan was stuck a pin pushed through this hole will remove them. A simple but effective solution. An extensive fact sheet is free with this purchase including a printed copy of the advertisement for the 'Feather Finish' product line.
