Delightful little early 19th.c. oak Welsh potboard dresser base c.1810. Unusual small size, just 4’8″ wide. Simple design with a single plank top (plus a thin strip at the rear) with neat moulded edge over three drawers with original turned knobs. Straight apron with an applied moulding. Raised on three crisply turned front legs joined with a potboard shelf with a plate stand and moulded edges. Some marks to the top where a rack was fitted, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
