Small Welsh Oak Dresser Base & Rack (c.1790)
This is a great example of a very good quality Welsh George III small oak dresser displaying a deep rich colour, circa 1790 - 1820.

This is a great example of a very good quality small Welsh George III oak dresser displaying a deep rich colour, circa 1780 – 1810 originating from Anglesey, North Wales. The dresser boasts great craftsmanship and although predominantly oak, it boasts mahogany inlaid escutcheons. The base features a solid three plank oak top. Below, there are three working drawers and a further three working drawers down the centre of the base. This is flanked by two opening cupboard drawers which have a working lock and key. The dresser stands on the original shaped bracket feet. The backboards, sides and drawer linings are constructed of pine which is typical for a dresser of this provenance. This dresser boasts a deep rich oak colour which has been created from 200 years of care and is a sought after size.
This dresser is an excellent investment and would look superb in a variety of rooms from the kitchen, hall way or the living room. This dresser base would certainly grace any home. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.
Condition Report
The whole dresser is completely original. The base and rack are original along with the brass door and drawer knobs. Nominal old use marks to the top of the dresser but please remember this has been a working dresser over the last 200 years. Later pine shelves have been added in each cupboard at a later date but these could always be removed if preferred. This item is solid in joint and ready to use. Free of woodworm.

You will be given a refund (excluding the delivery and collection cost) as long as the item is returned in the same condition. We will collect the item using our specialist Furniture Delivery Company to avoid any damage. We will not accept returns via a courier service due to experience of damaged items in transit.
