Super Pipe Cabinet - With Engraved Plate - c1902

This fine oak small smokers cabinet is a lovely example. It is presented in excellent condition and will make a charming addition to any collection.

The cabinet is crafted in Oak and is complete with twin ashtrays and oil wick lamp.

Wonderfully carved twin doors open to reveal a fitted interior with hanging racks to the internal faces. Twin drawers with original gilt metal handles offer useful storage for small items.

Externally the piece is in superb condition and bears the engraved plate of the original recipient. The wording reads 'Presented to S G Nash Esq by the members of the St Johns Gymnastic Club, Penge. An expression of esteem and appreciation of his services as Secretary. April 1902'

Whilst able to perform as a wall cabinet the piece will free-stand so makes a great desk top or shelf item.
