A small (just over 6 feet high) late 17th Century style longcase clock made in the George V period. It has a square hood, a long bevel glazed door, a fielded panel base and a shaped plinth. The brass dial has a silvered chapter ring with brass spandrels and a matted centre. It has a weight driven Westminster chime movement, that sounds the 1/4's and hours on chime bars. The chimes and or strike can be silenced. It has three brass weights and a brass bob pendulum, wound by pulling the chains on a weekly basis. We have been established since 1978, dealing in and restoring most antiques, specialising in clocks and furniture. We have our own workshops where we carry out specialist restoration work.-
