This is an early oak chest with good, rich colour and of desirably small size, making it ideal for a cottage, small house or flat. Having 2 short and 3 long drawers, and standing on bracket feet, the chest has a single mould on the carcass surrounding the drawers together with side groove runners in the drawers.

It has gorgeous double panelled sides and the back also has 2 panels which are chamfered. As to be expected, the handles are replaced and some sympathetic restoration has been carried out over the years.
