Beautiful little early 20th.c. French marble top chest of drawers c.1920. Just 28″ wide with the original highly figured rose marble top with shaped and moulded edges. Over a two drawer chest with bombe shaped front and sides. Symmetrically arranged rosewood veneers with inlaid floral and leaf pattern marquetry panels. Original crisply cast ormolu mounts, handles and escutcheons. Shaped apron and slim legs with further mounts at the centre and feet. Oak drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition. Cleaned and polished in our workshops.
