Small Mahogany Longcase Clock 1910
A high quality small and slender Edwardian mahogany longcase clock. It has a 10" diameter convex silvered dial, with floral engraving and signed "Maple London". It has a heavy brass 8 day movement striking the hours and halves on a gong, with polished weights and pendulum. The solid mahogany case has choice curl veneers on the door and the sides and base have matching veneers with crossbanding. The hood has carved ribbon swags and matching beading.
A true original example of Edwardian craftsmanship at its best.
